FREE SWAMP TOUR CLEAN UP & PIZZA PARTY

CLEAN UP ON AISLE SWAMP!

 

New Orleans Kayak Swamp Tours has recently adopted a mile stretch of swamp-front highway along the beautiful Manchac Greenway in LaPlace.  The goal is to clean up the trash and debris along our adopted section of roadway before it has negative environmental impacts on the area (ie birds choking or getting feet stuck)  We are hoping to turn our first roadside clean-up into a merry community event followed up with a complimentary kayak swamp tour of the beautiful Maurepas Wildlife Management Area and PIZZA PARTY.  All clean up equipment will be provided by the LaPlace DOT!  Bust out your ugly sweaters and jingle bells and join us in saving the swamp and its inhabitants!

 

WHEN: Tuesday, December 18th from 11:30-4pm

 

WHERE:  Shuttle leaves from 2360 N Villere Street @ 11:30 sharp

 

WHAT TO BRING:  Bottle of water, light snack, jingle bells
